Do you not only love scrolling through your Instagram feed but have experience building a channel of followers? Jerusalem U is looking for a creative, talented social media strategist to work with us full-time.
This position requires working in our office in the Old City of Jerusalem and reports to our Chief Marketing Officer.
What You’ll Do:
Join a motivated team that is responsible for bringing the various Jerusalem U brands to life digitally
Develop a strategic content framework and social media calendar for multiple brands
Create, curate and manage published content across all content platforms with a focus on Instagram, but includes Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter.
Experiment with different forms of visual storytelling; execute detailed plans for how major enterprise stories will appear.
Track and analyze data to help inform social platform strategy
Who You Are:
Proven experience in growing audiences and generating engagement with organic content strategies on the Instagram platform
Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in editorial, marketing & social media space, preferably with entertainment or media brands.
Strong writing skills and ability to write creative, engaging copy
Strong visual eye
Experienced user of popular social publishing, reporting, and listening tools
Knowledge of Photoshop, Adobe Premiere, video editing programs, iOS/Android apps, and cameras
Must be agile and flexible, and a constant student to stay ahead of new trends and platform changes as they happen
Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
Incredible attention to detail and intolerance for errors
Native English speaker who is able to legally work in Israel
